BIO: 
Matt Klitus is the CFO and Chief Strategy Officer at MassHealth, the Medicaid agency for the state of Massachusetts. MassHealth serves over 1.9 million low-income and disabled residents of Massachusetts and accounts for $16 billion in annual state spending. Matt oversees MassHealth’s financial management, provider/managed care pricing, program integrity, and strategic planning units and is responsible for ensuring the agency’s financial sustainability.

Prior to joining MassHealth, Matt was a Principal at General Catalyst Partners, where he led venture capital and growth-stage investments in healthcare services and healthcare technology. While at General Catalyst, Matt served as interim CFO of Oceans Healthcare.

Before General Catalyst, Matt was an investor at Bain Capital and a consultant at McKinsey + Company.

Matt holds a BA in chemistry from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
